Diagonal Oak Grain doors with pull down Murphy Bed
Bleached oak veneer doors, antique brass handles and Murphy bed
Project details
For this project, instead of the typical vertical or horizontal grain alignment, our customer has chosen a diagonal grain orientation.
Why Diagonal Grain? A diagonal grain offers a unique take on wood patterns. It brings dynamism to the otherwise static frontage of cabinetry. The grain running obliquely becomes a focal point, drawing the eye and adding depth and interest to the space. It’s both playful and sophisticated, a modern spin on a traditional material.
One of the cupboards has been designed in order to accommodate hanging rails and pull our drawers. The second cupboard features a pull-down Murphy bed in the bottom sections and additional hanging rails in the top section. Both cabinets have inbuilt LED lighting.
One of the highlights of this project was the harmonious integration of these cabinets into the existing interiors. Instead of overpowering the space, the Diagonal Grain Oak Cabinets are seamlessly integrated, elevating the overall ambience of the room.
