Contemporary alcove fitted wardrobes with handleless spray painted doors. These units were produced and perfectly fitted to the both sides of the chimney breast at our customers house in Clapham.
These wardrobes have managed to work in harmony with the existing fireplace, a feature that the client was keen to include. Being quite discrete in colour and design they do not overpower the room, instead blending in with the colour of the existing walls and in turn actually drawing your attention towards the prized chimney breast. In this way Urban Wardrobes can make the most of the elements of the room you already like and improve upon them.
The design is quite a neutral choice that suits the needs of the client perfectly. From the current choice of bed linen you can see they like the fresh and clean look that white brings to a room, so naturally that was a colour they would also pick for their wardrobe installation. But it’s quite an adaptable choice because if you wanted you could then quite easily bring colour to the room through new bedding or a different mat, without worrying your wardrobes would clash with whatever you selected. It’s a very versatile colour white and gives you freedom to develop your bedroom theme as you so desire. The white wardrobes additionally make the room appear more spacious as they really brighten up the room.
The internal configuration has numerous drawers, a shoe rack, shelves and hanging space. There is ample room to house the clients clothes, shoes and even towels, in this case they have dedicated one side for her and one side for him which works very well. The clients then have there own individual space to get dressed without getting in each other’s way in the rush to get to work.
